Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Hufis account, associated personal data, or specified personal data by emailing OceanLabs. This page is available even if you have signed out or uninstalled Hufis.
This opens your email app. You can also send your request directly to the address below; signing in or reinstalling Hufis is not required.

1. Send your request
Use the email action above or send a message directly to the contact below with “Hufis account and personal data deletion request” as the subject. Where possible, write from the email registered with your account. Include your account email, workspace name, and whether you want the account, specific personal data, or both deleted. If you no longer have access to that email, explain this so we can arrange appropriate identity verification.
- Do not include your password, verification codes, or confidential case documents.
- You do not need to sign in, reinstall Hufis, or pay a fee to submit a deletion request.
2. What happens next
We handle requests manually through support. We verify your identity and authority, clarify the scope if needed, and coordinate with the responsible office for office-controlled data. We explain the outcome, any information that must be retained and why, and confirm completion or the next steps. We respond within applicable legal deadlines; a response deadline is not a promise that all backup or provider copies are erased immediately.
3. Account and associated personal data
A verified account-deletion request concerns your profile/contact details, credentials, active sessions, and associated personal identifiers, including notification registrations where applicable. Data that no longer has a lawful retention purpose is deleted or, where appropriate, irreversibly anonymized. Temporary deactivation or signing out is not account deletion. You will lose access to the account when deletion is completed.
4. Office records and other people’s data
Your account may be connected to records belonging to an office, including client/party details, cases, investigations, enforcement matters, insurance files, uploaded documents, tasks, and financial records. Deleting your account does not automatically authorize deletion of those records or other people’s data. Their retention must have a lawful purpose determined by the responsible office; unnecessary personal identifiers are removed or anonymized as appropriate. Requests to erase office-controlled records must be assessed with that office and its legal obligations.
5. Information that may need to be retained
Limited records may need to remain for a specific statutory duty, legal claim, fraud prevention, or service security. This may include minimal audit/security records and legally required financial or matter records. We explain the categories, reason, and applicable retention criteria when assessing your request. Backup copies and copies processed by providers require their own removal or expiry processes. We do not promise a universal retention period; data is kept only for its applicable lawful purpose.
6. Existing controls and privacy requests
Signing out, disabling notifications, uninstalling the app, or archiving a record does not delete your account. Hufis currently provides this manual email request path rather than an automatic in-app account-deletion flow. Authorized office owners can permanently erase supported archived case records through the office erasure controls; office retention settings do not automatically purge records. For access, correction, consent withdrawal, or other privacy requests, use the same contact and explain the right you want to exercise. The Privacy Policy and KVKK Disclosure provide further information.
