1. The Hufis service

Hufis provides tools for managing law-office work, including records, documents, cases, investigations, enforcement matters, insurance claims, tasks, and deadlines. It is an operational software service and does not provide legal advice or replace professional judgment, court records, or official filing and deadline systems.

2. Accounts and authorized use

You must be an adult authorized to use the service and, when acting for an office, have authority to act for that office. Provide accurate account information, keep it current, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not share accounts or impersonate another person. Office owners are responsible for assigning appropriate roles and managing access when team members leave.

3. Your records and responsibilities

You and your office retain your rights in the information and documents supplied to Hufis. You authorize us to host, process, transmit, and display that content to the extent needed to provide and secure the service, follow lawful office instructions, and meet applicable obligations.

You are responsible for having the necessary authority and legal basis to upload personal or sensitive information, observing professional secrecy and confidentiality, choosing appropriate recipients for exports or sharing, and ensuring the accuracy of your records. Verify deadlines, calculations, and imported data against their authoritative sources. Maintain any independent copies required by your professional or legal obligations.

4. Acceptable use

• Use Hufis only for lawful activities and records you are authorized to access or process.
• Do not bypass permissions, probe other workspaces, misuse credentials, introduce malware, or disrupt the service.
• Do not upload unlawful content or infringe privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or other rights.
• Use integrations and API access within the permissions and service limits granted to your office.

5. Privacy and confidentiality

Our Privacy Policy and KVKK Disclosure explain personal-data handling and available rights. The office remains responsible for its instructions and the legal basis for its office-controlled records. We handle information as needed to provide the service and subject to applicable confidentiality, security, and data-protection obligations.

6. Fees and third-party services

Any fees, service periods, or commercial arrangements are governed by the terms separately agreed with your office. Third-party email, SMS, notification, update, and user-selected sharing services may have their own terms. You are responsible for permissions and recipients you select.

7. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, or change the service and may temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every record, calculation, import, or notification is error-free. You remain responsible for meeting professional obligations during interruptions. Applicable statutory rights and any separately agreed service commitments remain effective.

8. Software and intellectual property

Hufis software, branding, and service materials belong to OceanLabs or their respective licensors. You receive permission to use the service within these Terms and your office’s agreement. This does not transfer ownership of the software or limit your rights in your own content. Do not reproduce, distribute, or exploit service materials beyond what the law or your agreement permits.

9. Suspension, termination, and deletion

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the issue and allow it to be resolved. You can request account or personal-data deletion using the Account and Data Deletion page. Office-record retention and deletion are handled according to lawful office instructions and applicable obligations; archiving is not permanent erasure.

10. Responsibility and applicable rights

Each party is responsible for its actions and obligations under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we do not assume responsibility for inaccurate user-entered records, missed professional deadlines, unauthorized sharing by users, or failures of external services beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any dispute is subject to the law and competent authorities applicable to the parties and their agreement.

11. Updates and contact
